Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Instructor
April’s warm and engaging personality and love for the practice of mindfulness infuse her teaching with beauty and grace. She received her MSW from Grand Valley State University in 2001. After practicing in the nonprofit sector for several years, April discovered Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction when she realized that her own health and family life were being compromised by the growing stress in her life. As the practice of mindfulness began to powerfully transform her life, she decided to devote her time to leading groups and individuals in mindfulness practices.
