Jennifer has worked with children, families, and individuals since 2002 in outpatient, school or home-based settings.  Jennifer is a strength-based, solution-focused therapist who utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy as well as client-centered therapy and play therapy. Basically this means that she meets you or your family where you are at, while focusing on your strengths and identifying solutions and journeying through the healing process together. Jennifer values all aspects of a person’s life and takes a creative and holistic approach in guiding each person to understand that they are valued, that they belong and that they have purpose. Additionally, Jennifer uses Filial Therapy which is the process by which she trains parents/caregivers to utilize special play skills to create or improve attachments between child and parents/caregivers, especially those in adoptive or foster care placements. Jennifer is a Registered Play Therapist and also certified as a School Social Worker.
