Outpatient Therapist
Psychology Associates is seeking a qualified therapist with a Ph.D., Psy.D. or Master’s Degree in social work or psychology to join either of our private practice locations. This is a part-time/full-time position that provides outpatient mental health services to individuals, couples, and families. Our multi-disciplinary practice offers flexibility in scheduling, assistance with insurance credentialing, billing services, and a long-standing reputation in the community for providing excellent care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree, Ph.D., or Psy.D. in social work or psychology
- Fully Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, or Psychologist in the State of Michigan
- Professional liability insurance of 1 million/3 million in coverage limits
- Minimum of five years’ past experience (strongly preferred) in a clinical setting providing behavioral health treatment
General Job Description:
Provide diagnostic evaluation and treatment services utilizing select clinical modalities to individuals, couples, and families.
Maintain detailed and HIPAA compliant records (i.e. diagnostic evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, psychological testing) for each patient completed in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other health professionals regarding patient care and treatment options.
Submit administrative and billing paperwork.
Attend trainings and quarterly staff meetings.
