Erin is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (Lifespan) and clinically trained mental health therapist. Given her lifelong interest in mental health and love of working with people, she initially obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree from Vanderbilt University in Human Development Counseling (Clinical Mental Health Counseling track). Following completion of the counseling program, her clinical interest in psychiatry and mental health led Erin to pursue a Master of Science degree in Nursing (MSN) from Vanderbilt University, where she specialized in Psychiatry and Mental Health. She has worked in both outpatient and inpatient practice settings, from community mental health clinics to the acute medical setting. Prior to working in private practice, Erin was a faculty member in the School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Vanderbilt University, and worked as a clinician on the Adult Psychiatric Consultation Liaison Service at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Erin believes in multimodal treatment of mood and psychiatric disorders, and follows a biopsychosocial model in framing treatment recommendations. She has years of experience treating patients with a range of presenting problems, including depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and PTSD. At PAGR, Erin is currently providing clinical services including psychiatric assessment and medication management.
