
Colleen is a licensed clinical social worker with over 30 years of experience. Colleen specializes in developmental and behavior disorders, autism spectrum disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma. She works with adults, children, and adolescents in her practice.
Colleen received her BA in Psychology, and Masters in Social Work, from the University of Michigan. Her clinical work began with an internship at The University of Michigan, Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Hospital, Developmental Disorders Clinic. She continued her work as a therapist in both inpatient and private practice settings, and was a school social worker at Forest Hills Public Schools for 20 years.
Colleen holds certifications in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for Trauma, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Play Therapy, and is a Polyvagal trained provider. She works collaboratively with her clients to create a safe and supportive space for healing and personal growth.
