Jim has been providing therapy for the past 16 years.   He has a passion for working with children.  He excels at helping families cope with children who may be struggling with anxiety and other family stressors.   Jim is highly effective at  helping families develop functional behavior systems for children and uses a collaborative approach working with the child and family.   Jim received his Master of Social Work degree from Grand Valley State University and currently works as a school social worker in the Grand Rapids area.  Aside from his work as a therapist, Jim enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and enjoys time in the outdoors.
