Treatment of Emotional and Coping Related to Autism Spectrum and Asperger’s Disorders

The autistic spectrum is notable for deficits in understanding social interaction.  Children, teens and adults on the spectrum often struggle to develop and maintain close friendships. They may also find structured social settings like school, extracurricular activities and employment challenging.  Secondary difficulties with mood, anxiety, and behavior can occur due to the frustration caused by the disorder.
